Suzy Combs art studio and home is located on the outskirts of Anaconda, Montana.
She paints animals with acrylics on canvas, rocks, wood and elk hide.
The view from her home are landscapes of rocky, mountainous formations populated with Bighorn sheep that fills her with awe. It is magical for her to watch the big horns keep their balance, climbing high cliffs and rocky ledges in deep snow. The rams walk with confidence, carrying their horns marred with battle scars. Underneath that power is also a sense of peace that she shares in her wildlife paintings.
Wildlife and her love of domestic animals continually inspires her to paint and keep practicing.
